Eye ran this poem threw it,

My checker tolled me sew.

A checker is a bless sing.
It freeze yew lodes of thyme.
It helps me right awl stiles two reed,
And aides me when aye rime.

Each frays come posed up on my screen
Eye trussed too be a joule.
The checker pours o'er every word
To cheque sum spelling rule.

Bee fore a veiling checker's
Hour spelling mite decline,
And if we're lacks oar have a laps,
We wood bee maid to wine.

Butt now bee cause my spelling
Is checked with such grate flare,
Their are know fault's with in my cite,
Of nun eye am a wear.

Now spelling does knot phase me,
it does knot bring a tier.
My pay purrs awl due glad den

Focusing Your Business

You have an online business and everything is going great. You've found that you have more time to do what you want to do. You can take your business in any direction and every possibility sparkles and motivates you. And then you forget what exactly your home business was all about. You lose the most valuable thing that is what draws people to your business. You lose focus on the business. Too many tangents and too much information. Your website starts to look like a dumping ground instead of an ordered, structured website that fills the need you originally put it up on the Internet for. What do you do?

If you made a business plan when you started, then go back to your roots and look at your website from the business plan's standpoint and remove everything that doesn't fit with your business plan. If you have to, restructure your website so that you get it reflecting your business and not a confusing mess. If you didn't make a business plan then you should really sit down and start one now. A business plan outlines what your business is about and what goals you have for your business. It keeps you focused and on task.

But, you say, "All that information you stuck up there is really useful and you like it otherwise it wouldn't have been there in the first place!" There is no rule on the Internet that says you must only have one business or just one website, in fact it is smart to diversify sometimes. So if you can't use this bit of information for your main site why not start another one based around that information?

Once you have goals in mind and can clearly see what you want out of your business and what direction you want to take that business you are more likely to succeed. You may have heard of Niche Websites, but what are they? Niche websites are websites that are designed around one specific very narrow category. In other words they are sites like "Bottle nosed dolphins" or "The Nikon camera and its history". Both of the websites listed in the sentence before actually have something in common. They are very narrow categories that people have designed a site around, and that have a group of dedicated and passionate people who are very interested in their subjects.

But why do people do this? They are doing it because they love the subject that they designed the site around and they often are getting a lot of money for doing what they love. How? Most Niche sites that you will encounter on the Internet have two things going for them: original content and ads. The original content give them a high ranking in search engines, making them more likely to be looked at by the casual surfer. And the ads give the visitor someplace else to go on the same subjects, which gives the site click-thrus.

Some search engines like Google and Yahoo pay you money for click-thrus, and many companies that sell related products will pay you a percentage of any sale that is made to a visitor you sent (affiliate sales). If you sign up with one of these companies and put their ads on your site you can potentially make a lot of money, especially if you have a lot of original content on your subject. You don't necessarily make a lot of money from your loyal readers, it's the casual browser who will click through to your site and then click through to leave your site that usually makes you the most money.

Can you sell products on this type of site? Sure, you can give them the option to buy something and you can make some immediate money that way, but don't ignore the profit potential from the ads and affiliate links.

How often should I put new content (articles) up on the site? Some people like to update their site everyday but this isn't necessary. The spiders for the search engines actually will spider your site every three days or so, so for your piece of mind and less work you should probably update every three days in order to have something new when your site is respidered and so get better search engine ranking.

The goal is to keep your subject narrow so that it is unique from other sites. If you give the browser something different to look at on a subject they are interested in they are more likely to visit your site once and more than once. That is the goal - to get as many interested visitors as you can to come to your site. Some people make a very good living off of this method of website marketing and you can too. You don't even need to write the content yourself you can hire someone to ghost write it for you (http://forwardeditorial.com) for fifteen dollars an article. It's easy to start a business and if you aren't in too much of a hurry and understand that growing a business takes time you will do very well at it.

There is a basic advertising tool that is often overlooked by business but not by customers: advertising in smaller ways to make your company stand out from among your competitors and other businesses. It's simple to advertise your business and you can do it for a lot less then a spot commercial on your local television station.

On average it takes someone seeing a particular thing seven times before they remember it. So if you put up your business card, brochures, post card, or flyer up at all the local places people visit, like the grocery store, the bank or even your local department store people are a lot more likely to see your printed media and remember you the next time they need something that your business provides.

The more popular way of doing this is by using a flyer that has your logo and a little about your company along with contact information. Many people, if the flyer is interesting and colorful, will stop and at least read the title of the flyer.

Remember to also put up brochures and postcards in related companies. For instance if you sell dog food you may want to go to your local veterinarian office and ask to put up your brochure and business cards to sell your dog food. You won't believe the amount of customers you can get from such a simple advertising tactic.

If you offer free samples to go along with the business you are advertising you are even more likely to get customers. These are simple tactics of advertising that people can use to garner more local business and even long distance business.

If every time you sell a product to someone you send them a postcard thanking them and offering them a discount the next time they purchase from you, you are a lot more likely to get their repeat business. All of this can be done with offline printed media like business cards, post cards, brochures, flyers, letterheads and posters. It's awesome what you can accomplish and the business you can generate from just posting these things around your local town. Do more for yourself and your business and get some printed media advertising your business and post it around your town. You'll be glad you did.

It's okay to have a lot of interests and hobbies. And everything on the Internet about your hobbies and interests can look and sound great. That is the way businesses design their sites. They want to attract attention and get you to sign up and sell their product as an affiliate or a member.

There are a lot of different directions that you can take any of your interests or hobbies. Or if you just want to make money there are millions of companies online that will help you do that as well.

I would say do your research. Research the company you are thinking of joining. Don't just take their word for it look at forums, blogs, etc about the company. This can save you time and money by selecting the right company.

Next, create a business plan about the company you want to start. Set goals and work toward them. There are a lot of people on the Internet who succeeded only  because they stuck with the plan and stayed true to their cause.

If you have trouble focusing, hire or listen to someone who doesn't. ADD is a common problem with people and if you have this problem, focusing on one thing becomes a huge problem. There are so many things on the Internet that can and will distract you. Get a partner who can manage and point you in the right direction when you get off track.

Narrow your focus. Yes you have a lot of interests and you want to do it all at once. The problem is that nothing works well when it is only half done. Pick one interest or business and when it is done and all you are doing is maintaining it, move onto the next project. If you want to succeed you must complete what you start.

But what if you need money now and what you would like to do doesn't make money but the thing you aren't really interested in makes money? First you will have to prioritize. If what you know will make money is really such an onerous task that you hate it then you may want to look at other sources of ready income until you can do what you love. There are a lot of people that have part time jobs and have an online business. Or you can split time. Dedicate one day to what makes money and the next to your passion. Managing your time is a very effective way to get what you want done.

Don't get distracted. Yes there is a lot of stuff out there on the Internet and it all looks so great. There is nothing wrong with trying some of it, but get your projects done first before starting something new. The reason so many people have failed on the Internet is because they would start something and instead of following these basic steps they run off to the next big thing hoping to make millions. The  truth is that there is no such thing as a get righ quick opportunity. Anyone who says differently is either a fraud or hasn't learned the hard way yet. The only people who make money off such companies are the people who start them.
